Yesterday, Sunday, Kevin Barnes of the 'Skins grabbed the ball out of the air, intercepting the Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback David Garrard's pass in overtime, and a moment later 'Skins kicker Graham Gano's made a 31-yard field goal that put 'Skin's up 20-17, for a win, and broke the 'Skins four-game losing streak
The 'Skins are now 6-9 for the season. The win was a win by the defense, call them the no name, back up defense, made up of subs. Many of the 'Skins starters are side lined with injuries, a problem the 'Skins have suffered all season.
The Jaguars' game was hampered by the absence of its star Maurice Jones-Drew. Without Jones-Drew, the Jaguars offense was disadvantaged.
What of Rex Grossman? The 'Skins starting quarterback? He was middling, was 19 of 39, with 182 yards, one touchdown, one interception. Defense and special teams got the 'Skins good field position
